For our year end appeal we feature Vannet, Gerschon, Eli and Eva Voltaire. Eli and his dad are in the Baby + Me class, Vannet is an active swimmer and her brothers Jimmy and Santiago have trained with ICW to be Red Cross certified lifeguards.

The Voltaires represents what ICW is all about — creating spaces where every age, body and background is supported and encouraged to rewrite their relationship with the water.

For #GivingTuesday we are featuring Beverly Marshak, a joyful regular at our Sunday Community Swim at Brooklyn College. Beverly has survived three near-drownings but is now courageously learning how to feel safer and more confident in the water. This is what ICW is about: creating spaces where every age, every body and every background is encouraged to rewrite their relationship with the water.

When you support ICW, you’re not just funding swim classes, you’re opening the door to healing, confidence and life-saving skills.
